The Conservatory’s Tempe and Gilbert facilities house a total of eight recording studios featuring large format consoles from SSL, Neve and Neotek. Audio recording takes place on legacy 2-inch 24-track machines from Studer and Otari in addition to Pro Tools HD-TDM rigs offering converters from Apogee and Digidesign. Our facilities are open 24 hours, seven days a week giving students the opportunity to attend hands-on review classes and book studio time for their 5th and 10th Cycle projects. This intensive on-site exposure to our gear plus round-the-clock availability of our exclusive CRAS Connect learning management system gives dedicated students a path to success unavailable in other educational environments where audio is not the primary focus. |
