Rupert Neve Article

Adding to an impressive list of notable industry professionals who have visited the school this year, on November 7th, Mr. Rupert Neve visited the campus of the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, Arizona. Mr. Neve spent the day at the school, touring the facilities, lecturing and visiting with students and faculty. The lectures were attended by a group of over 250 future audio professionals and covered the history of post WWII audio and his involvement with equipment design. He also touched on his advocacy of extended bandwidth and inadequacy of current digital sampling rates.

School administrator Kirt Hamm said: "Mr. Neve doesn't often visit recording schools so we were particularly honored to have such an industry legend come and share his vast pool of knowledge and experience with the students. He gave us a real perspective on the industry and a better understanding of the intricacies and challenges associated with new technology. He was impressed with how knowledgeable and attentive the students were and expressed interest in returning in the future."
