"I take CRAS interns because of the curriculum taught, and because the placement department at the Conservatory really knows what I am about, what my expectations are, what gear I have, and who my clientele is. They direct to me the students who are suited for me. I hire CRAS graduates because of the fundamental knowledge and familiarity with the equipment, which is key, as well as the etiquette the Conservatory emphasizes."

"We have had a great experience with CRAS interns. We are really proud at having been able to place them at various facilities around the Los Angeles area. They have really helped us out a lot. We find that CRAS interns come in the most clued in. They are responsible, they show up, they are ready to work, they are ready to learn, and the have a great attitude in general." |

"I think the Conservatory really gives the best education of any of the schools I have worked with. I have taken on lots of interns from the school and I really enjoy the program. The Conservatory send people that are ready to work and know a good amount of the gear. I keep finding good students and good people." |

| I have lost count of how many students I have hired from the Conservatory. I have complete confidence in the students and the Program, the audio foundation they have when they come in prepares them for the work we do here. |

| A worthwhile intern must be able to follow instructions with attention to details, asking questions if not sure, never assuming. Clay is doing great; he will be our 3rd engineer in the near future. Great attitude! I believe your school must be one of the best. |

| I have spent time working with students from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences here in Los Angeles. One of the students that I worked with is John Cavanaugh. While he was here, he assisted me with projects I was working on, and I found that he was very intelligent, had a very strong work ethic, and personally handled himself well around the other professionals and talent in the various places that I took him. |

"...last week I had the privilege of working with Jason Artega (a recent Conservatory graduate) while I was on tour mixing FOH for Mercury recording artist Shelby Lynne. The performance had to be spot on, as Shelby was playing a special showcase for the executives from the Universal Music Group. With Jason's assistance, we were able to achieve our sonic goals, making it the best show of the tour. I hope that I get to work with more people like Jason in the future. Thank you and keep up the excellent work." |
