Our professional quality collection features a wide variety of microphones, including condenser mics, dynamic moving coil and ribbon mics. In order to capture the best-quality recording you need first-hand experience using professional audio tools of the trade.
Condenser Microphones
Condenser mics are arguably the most popular microphones for studio use because of their wide frequency range and quick transient response. Additionally, condenser mics have a relatively high electrical output, which means they don’t require the amount of gain that a dynamic moving coil or passive ribbon mic would need.
Dynamic Microphones
Dynamic mics produce a lower level signal and have a slower transient response but are better suited and preferred for high Sound Pressure Level (SPL) situations. They are often the first call mics for close drum miking, guitar cabinet recording and even some vocal applications.
