Temp & Gilbert Attractions


Arizona's Phoenix metropolitan area includes the cities of Chandler, Glendale, Mesa, Paradise Valley, Scottsdale and Tempe. Along with other cities, they combine to form the Valley of the Sun. The valley currently has more than 3.5 million residents.

Phoenix is home to many world-class resorts and spas, exquisite shopping plazas, lush golf courses, renowned restaurants and a dynamic nightlife. The metropolitan area has all the wonderful experiences you would expect to find in a major city including fantastic museums and galleries and a wide array of sporting events. This makes Phoenix not only a great place to attend recording school, but also a great place to live.

The area also offers Old West and Native American history, hiking and other outdoor activities suited for the state's climate. The area averages more than 300 days of sunshine each year. There are two ski resorts within driving distance of the valley and the Grand Canyon can be visited in a day's trip. With all these one-of-a-kind benefits, life in Phoenix is sure to be as enriching as your time at the Audio Recording School.

You’re interested in the recording arts because you love music, right? Well the Phoenix area is known for its vibrant music scene with concerts and musical events throughout the valley. Arizona has spawned musical successes like the Gin Blossoms, the Refreshments, the Pisteleros, Jimmy Eat World and the most recent American Idol, Jordin Sparks. Successful recording artists such as Stevie Nicks, Alice Cooper, Dave Mustaine, Troy Luccetta of Tesla and many more have made the Valley of the Sun their home.

TEMPE
Our Main recording arts location is nestled in Tempe, Arizona, just a short distance from Arizona State University. Housing is abundant and secure. Downtown Tempe offers many amenities for young adults including more than 175 restaurants, as well as numerous night clubs and retail shops. Tempe Town Lake, located just north of downtown, is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy water activities.

GILBERT
Our satellite audio recording facility is located in Gilbert, Arizona, eight miles southeast of Tempe via US60. Gilbert residents enjoy similar recreational activities as their Tempe counterparts. Bicycling, swimming, volleyball, rollerblading, and some of the finest golf in the world are found in the area.

Conservatory students spend 15 weeks at each location, giving them exposure to all of our recording studios, labs, and instructors.
