CRAS Graduate Carlos Sances

Graduates

I've learned a lot but I'd never be here if it wasn't for what I learned at CRAS. Thanks. - Carlos Sances

I just wanted to take a minute to update everyone at CRAS about my status and also to say, "thank you" to everyone there for all of their help in starting my career. - Jeremy Underwood

Just wanted to write you to say that I appreciated all the lessons on Studio etiquette and technical aspects while in school. - Micah Jordano

I am writing this letter to express my thanks to the entire staff at the Conservatory for the quality education I received . The program gave me the knowledge base that I needed to be a success in the audio industry. As a matter of fact, Waves was so happy with me, they hired another Conservatory graduate for the tech support department (and he is certainly a great benefit to the company)! Thanks again, and I will be looking for more great things from future Conservatory grads! - Chad Bloch

Thanks to the knowledge I gained in ProTools I will be running the audio suite at the Denver Federal Center. Just wanted to tell you Thanks for all your help, and give Alex Otto and Chris Gough my appreciation for sharing their expertise with me. - Daniel Gonzales

Exactly one year ago this week, I arrived in Nashville after a very long drive from Tempe. In that year I have accomplished more than I could have imagined as I was leaving the Conservatory. After completing my internship hours both at Sony/Tree Studio and Sound Stage Studios, I was hired at Sony/Tree (owned by Sony/ATV Music Publishing) as an assistant engineer.... As opportunities continue to unfold for me, I wanted to stop and send a long overdue message of appreciation for the great service provided by the faculty and staff of the Conservatory. - Paul Alfred Hart

My education at CRAS helped to open my eyes to all of the options available to me, and also gave me an increased understanding of the level of professionalism that the industry requires. As a result, I've been able to secure work beyond engineering - as a consultant, label-owner, producer, artist and writer. - Courtney C. Patty

Thanks for really persuading me to come out to the Big Apple, and giving me the support that I surely needed. You can have any student call me for advice, you guys can call anytime, and when we need help at the studio I know who to call. - Chris Petro

The education this school has given me has helped me get where I am today. They taught me things other students from other schools could only dream of. I would like to thank Kirt, Mike, and all the teachers and staff for all they did and taught me. I wouldn't have gotten to where I am today if it wasn't for their boost and the lessons they taught. - Todd Frangella

I am a recent graduate of The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences and would like to thank you and all of the wonderful staff of teachers and project instructors for their guidance and support throughout school. - James Regan

You will be pleased to know that I am the new copyright assistant at Bug Music. I am still working with Hard Soul Records, I wrote the proposal and set up their month residency at a club called the Little Temple. I am also getting in some occasional studio time with Geza X who is a noteworthy producer famous from the LA punk scene. - Mark Roble

I'd like to thank the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences for making this year one of dreams and challenges. In the short time after completing my internship here in Los Angeles I have been fortunate to have sat in sessions with incredible musicians, composers, and engineers - experiences I only read about in industry magazines. The staff here at Mad Hatter have welcomed me with open arms. I have been lucky and fortunate for this experience. Thank you again for the training that you have given me. - Rene Anthony Lopez

I felt I should write a thank you note to the staff of CRAS for making my school experience and training so worthwhile. Right now I'm working as an assistant engineer and as an occasional freelance producer/engineer at Transcontinental Studios in Orlando, FL. - Elise Thomas

Since working at WestEnd, I've done projects with, ESPN, The National Pro Paintball League (airs on Fox Sports), WTVT, The Florida Orchestra, and Billy Mays. - Tim Hern

I attended the Pro Tools Introductory Training, March 26, 27, & 28, 1999 at the Conservatory presented by Chris Gough. I've been broadcasting how very valuable I feel the Pro Tools class is. The structure and composition of the class is far superior to the guides and reference books that come with Pro Tools. It makes for a much easier learning experience for the student. Keep up the good work. - Jim Mennemeyer

I just wanted to write and say hello and let you know what I was up to... We have also finished a feature length independent film for a director from Brooklyn. And have just begun another film for a director here in Philly. I am doing a lot of sound design and original music for local regional and national tv spots. Thank you for giving me the knowledge that I now use to pay my rent with. - Aaron Niemann

Just writing to say hello from Brazil. Just finished shows in Mexico City, Bogota, and Caracas, Venezuela. Working with great crew and getting along well with Metallica. The education I received there is really helping me. - Keir Kimble
