ROBERT SCOVILL, Guest Lecturer/Board of Advisors, is a five-time winner of Mix magazine's prestigious Technical Excellence and Creativity (TEC) award for Best Sound Reinforcement Engineer in 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, and 1997.He is widely regarded as one of the world's leading experts in live sound. His front-of-house touring credits include Rush, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Matchbox 20, Def Leppard, Prince, Foreigner, Tesla, Toto, Alice Cooper, Dan Reed Network, Air Supply, and Laurie Anderson. He has been profiled in numerous articles in publications such as Mix, EQ, Pro Sound News, and Live Sound!. Mr. Scovill has also written many articles for these and other publications. Additionally, his is a renowned and respected speaker for such prestigious organizations as the Audio Engineering Society. He owns and operates MusiCanvas Studio and Eldon's Boy Records in Scottsdale, AZ. Mr. Scovill is also a consultant to several manufacturers regarding algorithm design for signal processors, and is an endorser of Neumann Microphones and Hafler Professional Amplification Systems.
